Radio piece on the Sámi Truth and Reconciliation Commission in Finland

The Sámi Truth and Reconciliation Commission was the first government mandated commission in Finland that looked into systematic discrimination of the Sámi by the Finnish state. The commission held consultations with almost 400 Sámi people and commissioned 25 separate studies by various experts. It submitted its final report to the Government, the Sámi Parliament and the Skolt Sámi Siida Council on 4 December 2025.
